A never ending story. Yes it was 190hp back in 1967 ?, measured with SAE gross standards.
That should be converted into a measly 120hp measured SAE net (approximated from the 318 that
went from 230 gross to 150 net). Yeah that's gross.
120hp would be the power you can realistically compare to anything that moves on the streets today.
Edith sez: Gross measurements were taken without exhaust, any accessories or air cleaner... maybe
they hand-picked an engine for that. :)
