….for all of the years 14X5.5 inch steelies were offered by Chrysler in SBP, are all years the same as far as backspacing, etc.? In other words, will a later year 14X5.5 inch SBP wheel fit on an earlier year car that came with 14X5.5 inch wheels?

Can't say about other years... but my OE 67 14x5.5 has a back spacing of about 3 - 5/16 from lip to mounting surface (that's the way I was taught to measure it)
