On the last pass before I pull it this Winter we finally got a 5 second pass out of my small block. After running 6.001 three or four times I could taste it and wanted a 5 second pass out of this engine with a solid lifter cam. Nothing fancy, no tricks, and on a relatively budget build 7500.00 build. I was planning on upgrading to a roller cam and more compression over the Winter but I'm so spoiled by this thing I may just freshen the heads, rings, and bearings.
