I am working on my 65 Cuda with a 318 and console automatic. When I was removing my engine/trans during my rebuild, I found the shifter end fitting of the park lock cable was broken off. Is there any way I can fix the end piece without replacing the whole cable? I understand from some forums research that changing that cable is a very delicate operation on the trans end....correct? Does anyone out there have a replacement cable for sale? Thanks guys. I am located in Boise Idaho.

Jeffery Lee you might look up Grumpy Pete in the mechanical classified section. He has a cable but I don't know if it will interchange but you could see.
Good luck, Steve

cables for that trans are more than the trans itself! I wonder if a place could braze it back?
