The drawings are much easier to follow when resketched into functional diagrams like above.
The wiring diagrams in the manuals are schematics to show where everything goes. Even colorized they are hard to use as functional diagrams. That's why I redraw the circuits I'm working on. That's true whether its the main feeds like here, or tailgate harness on my wagon.
