Would you like to be able to read The Forum when someone has your car 50 years from now and is trying to figure out all the stupid crap that you did? Lol
I know for some people getting the car back to factory is a goal, but for people like me not so much. my car is more for pushing the limits of my imagination and skills of what I can do or create myself. Me personally I would love to be there with someone scratching their head going what the hell!
What's funny is my car will likely go to my son. And already I built that Power Wagon and drove it to him and have already gotten the phone call "DAAAD" WHAT THE HELL! LOL
I guarantee the wiring on my Duster is definitely "one off" ... In more ways than one LOL...

dont care, if he wanted something troubleless, he should have spend more money then my car would cost

I made 4 books during the build ,,engine, electrical/gauges, fuel injection, pics of things for assembly.
If my son or someone else can sift thru and decipher them they might have a chance. lol
the books are for me too.

I figured there was plenty of threads pointing out all the disasters that people have found that other people have done yet no one is owning up to all the disasters they're creating. I am.

I am trying to document all my mods and changes. Especially wiring changes. But yeah, what makes sense to me, may not make sense to someone else. Hell, what makes sense to me today may not make sense to me next week!

My Demon has been a race car most of it's life. I ripped out all of the cobbled up wiring & put all new back in & I made a wiring diagram. My car was built to my specs & expectations & if someone buys it, it's their responsibility as soon as I have cash in hand.

was adding a USB port to my car the other day and i needed somewhere to pull power from
well, the port went in the problematic shifter cover so why not pull from the linelock? its right there anyway

figured if i hook it up parallel it should work just fine
well, not sure how i managed it, but everything worked...except, when i plugged something into the USB port, my line lock would come one

turned out i forgot one of our members (i think it was @crackedback ) had send me some voodoo doohickey that allowed my tail lights to come one when the line lock was engaged...and i might have used that as a ground on the USB port

i think

anyway, i got it all figured out and all is well

I can't imagine who/when/how anyone would buy my 2 F bodies, but if they took them apart, they might impressed with my frugalness, and then where I put the money into the car.

Unlike the Awesome A bodies, there is little aftermarket for my cars. 4 speed carpet, windshields, chassis parts, 3 speed wiper motors, regular under hood parts, and that's it.

I had to hunt down the better steering wheels, doors, bumpers, interior pieces, 1978/79 Aspen grille {as much as $1500 now}, bucket seats, AM/FM CB radio, vertical 76/77 louvers, 76 volare tail lights that look like 1970 Plymouth B body tail lights, duck tale spoiler, wheel flares, transmissions ( & linkages), clutch pedals, rear defrost blower ducting and switch, under dash A/C ducting & box {from a drug dealer's diplomat in the junk yard $50}...the hunt was the reward!

Even more so on a budget.

No way it will ever sky rocket in value, but if it is all still there I guarantee the owner will appreciate it.

After many a discussions with my brother I have finally found out the truth to why I found corn stalk crap wedged into areas I didn't know existed until the panels started coming off. Guess when your 18 in the 80's, high, and jumping railroad tracts one tends to bounce off the road and into a corn field. Explains other things to. So now I don't ask wtf happened here. I don't want to know.

First thing i do when i buy a new to me car?
Pull the back seat. Money, tools, cassette tapes to name a few.

One of them will likely say, "Oh, he owned your car too? I know a couple other guys with cars he saved from certain demise!"

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Simple ,for me : Make what you have,work..
Isn't that what's hot rodding ,a car about?
JUSt SAYIN....

50 years from now they will be lucky to even find fuel for it! They are going to have to do far more to it to be able to drive it than we ever had to.

Probably be in a museum somewhere or run on closed courses only.

50 years from now, I will be beyond caring and whomever will have fun removing my rotted corpse from the drivers seat.

Since I'll probably be long gone anyway, I don't really give a **** what the next guy thinks.

I guess there's quite a few things that are still stock in there but that may be what confuses somebody?
