Well, I don't know, I think there's enough decklid to do it, if you moved it rearward. This example tried to center it on the gas cap, which to my mind was not a good idea (there is no gas cap on the righthand side, so ??). It would fit just in front of the bumper returns. I still don't know if I'd like it, but it would make more sense.
Those front fender stripes would look better if they had more slant, and as someone commented, if they ran across the door rather than squeezing in on the fender. I also think they should relate to the black hood somehow -- probably the back edge of the black stripe should come off the back corner of the hood. Right now it leaves this odd corner sticking out. Or instead of painting the whole hood black, bring the stripe up onto the hood and bend it to run forward to the grill, so you would have dual hood stripes. That would be more dynamic.
