We have replaced the brake caliper and the master cylinder in our friend dart.

We have bleed the brake but it is still spongy, at first when we press the pedal is soft.
After we pump one time it comes up.

We have bleed a lot and is still spongy...

Any ideas.

year ? make ? model? Factory disc brake car ? converted? which master cylinder ? are rear brakes adjusted correctly?

It could be the MC is too small in bore. A smaller bore will give the soft feeling. Too large will be a lot harder to push. The brake require a certain pressure to work. You have you foot to create that input pressure, multiple by the MC bore. Too large of bore, requires more input pressure, too small the pressure builds to max quickly and require less input of your foot, making it feel soft. It boils down to what is your personal feelings as to what foot pressure you are looking for.

Make sure you have the calipers on the correct sides. The bleeder should point up so all of the air rises to the top when your bleed them.

This is more common than you think.

The previous brake was stock drums, now changed to disc brake. I think the issue is there, to apply hydraulic pressure to the new and bigger calipers require a larger diameter master cylinder
