If you think that's bad you should have seen the poor 68 VW bug my neighbors back in the 70's put a 426 hemi in.

Really RustyRatRod do you think that none of us care about what happens to the old cars? I DO, but back in the old days I had know idea just like my grand dad had know idea.
So we can ether have fun with what we went through as a kid or keep kicking ourselves in torment for the destruction of all the cars we destroyed.
Sorry I should have said me not us.
And by the way the picture of the cut down 4 door dart, I bet if it was not that way it would be gone to scrap with no memories.

That’s what I was thinking. This Frankenstein of anride was probably on its way to being dead and a recycling plant when this guy had some fun with what was otherwise a ride to far gone for anything but the recycle plant. I like seeing weird stuff.

And I’ll give it a go as long as it is on the plus side of 400 hp. There’s worse ways to die.....

The 55 Chevy I mentioned earlier won a lot of races at the drag strip because of weight transfer

196 Hemi and a Dyers 4-71 blower? Lol!
This happens every time we set the clocks back - I get an hour extra to think. Lol!

Hey 70chall440 my mother and 1 brother lives in Yelm WA. Go there almost every year. I grew up around Federal Way and Graham. Sure use to like it there but to crowded now and taxes suck.
 
Fred - small world for sure. I retired out of FT Lewis and settled here, been here since around 05. Nice area overall.

I was born at Madigan Hospital there on base back in 56. I think it's a museum now.Lol
 
I have no idea where the hospital was in 56, the museum is on the west side of I5 now, the old Madigan area is almost completely redone with new buildings. I used to run PT through the old Madigan area as it was near my unit.

Last time I was on the base was in 70 something, so I bet it has changed.
