Got a 8 1/4 complete from the junkyard with 3.55s and a LSD case out of a 93 Dakota. All looks nice, new bearings,seals ect installed using the 321 original gears. Installing the carrier and find it hits the case on the right side by top cap bolt. Looking at the Dakota housing it has been clearenced by about 1/4 inch. Maybe done on a mill at the factory?? The housing all this is going in is from a 73 Dart sport 340 4 speed car. Anyone run into this before?
