18V Cordless Pivoting Head Flashlight - DW908 | DEWALT

I’ve got batteries for this one that are from my drill.

I have a lot of 18V Milwaukee cordless tools & I use their flash lights too, quite often.

Bought a really nice snap-on rechargeable. It left with a customer’s vehicle.
3rd time. Last time it didnt make it back. Thinking the dewalt 18v next go round. Using a 35 dollar rechargeable that has served me very well. They dont last long, lets call it daily abuse.

i like these free ones when the power goes out from harbour freight

new design? Mine has 24 LEDs instead of one strip. I like those too: has a magnet, a hook and a mini spot on the front..and they are free almost everytime you walk in with a coupon. I have that Stanley 3 LED tripod. I used it once and never saw it again..I didnt miss it.

If you use alkaline batteries, keep them in a sandwich bag so when they leak you don't lose a flashlight. I had batteries leak and ruined the new LED light with the switch in the rear.

yup new design. just as good as the old design. ive got both

that hydra light got my attension. watched a review. result was garbage. i had hope for it though.

The little black one from harbor freight that clicks on and off on the back. I have them everywhere. Love em..
Edit: that and a good old fashioned drop light with a plug in for tools.

As a Fireman for thirty one years I never had any luck with the rechargeable lights. Nicads would always die and I cycled them as per instructions. I know the newer batteries are much better, NiMh and LiIon, but for as much as I use them I feel the akaline in the separate bag will suffice. No charging to worry about.

i agree NiCads are worthless. I have many porter cable tools that are unusable now. they could have made the new lithium batteries fit the older NiCad stuff. but noooo

you can rebuild those battery packs for about $1 a cell (usually take 5 or more) just rebuild them with new cells of equal size. As for flashlights, I have a 12V R4 bulb in a 10" reflector that's rated at 1M candlepower (concentrated) , or >12M lumens! plugs into lighter. Used it once camping.

I am a flashlight junkie!

Streamlight high end to HF on the other.

I use

I got a Fenix E20 a few months ago. Takes 2 AA batteries and gives great light. 4levels. Stays on the level you leave it on. Great for maintenance. I can use less light up close inside a machine etc. Or crank it up and see something in the ceiling or much farther away outside at night.
Fenix E20 LED Flashlight

Nobody really makes a really good one, IMO. At least I haven't found one yet.

Other than maglights if had the same one for probably 20 years and all I have ever had to do to it is change the batteries and the bulb twice.
