not my cup of tea either. i like stock. just an option for someone who might like it.
 
I suppose as there are fewer and fewer good clusters to rebuild this would be an option. But it seams out of place in an A body to me.
 
Think of it this way...
No more dealing with over voltage issues due to faulty connections.

If the producers of "Back to the future" had used a Duster instead of a Delorean that would be the normal.
 
I have actually thought of putting one of the little intellitronics in mine. They used to be around 300 bucks
 
When I started my 65 Dart wagon project I decided early on to swap the 65 dash out for a 66 Barracuda dash I had kept - mainly because it had the oil pressure gauge and if I found one, swapping the performance (vacuum) gauge out for a tach. I had seen several members change their dashes out for digital soo decided to go that route. I sent my rechromed66 Barracuda dash less the OEM gauges to Dakota Digital who added their digital gauges to the cluster. Is it everyone’s cup of tea -probably not. Eventually I will get to the point where the dash gets installed. Would a future owner like it? Who knows but that may not be for 20 or 30 years since my youngest son will eventually get the wagon.

Any way to see that puppy all lit up? I like it so far. Modern but original all at the same time. Next step- heated and cooled cup holders.

IDK about heated and cooked cup holders holders but there will be cup holders somewhere. There will definitely be heated seats and and power lumbar support for the driver (that will be me) in the driver’s seat. No, they won’t be seats from a modern something that has them they are 66 Barracuda buckets!
