Wrong Pivot?

A word of warning, the Mopar clutch pivot failed in my '66 Valiant with '71 Demon 340 Engine & 4 speed after I switched to a Lakewood bell housing. It overhangs the mounting pad & is not supported.
I replaced it with one made from 5/16 angle iron. Otherwise extend the mounting pad.

Thanks!!! I’m using the stock bellhousing and it looks like there is enough mounting pad.
