'60-'62 Valiant (+Lancer) Tech Service/Parts/Tool/Accessory Bulletin Books, Set of 3
Here's a set of three brand-new hardback books containing factory bulletins pertaining to the '60 (Q-series), '61 (R-series), and '62 (S-series) Valiants. Virtually all of the info is equally applicable to Dodge Lancers, too. This is primarily U.S. information, with interesting Australian material sprinkled in. Bulletins cover a wide range of subjects: updated and improved parts, revised specifications and service procedures, factory deviations from published specifications, fixes for unanticipated problems that cropped up after the cars were released (did you know the Slant-6 distributors were installed with a kind of cork gasket instead of a rubber O-ring at first?), factory accessories and how to (and how not to) install them, paint and body repair information, amazingly detailed AMA whole-car specifications. There's material on the aluminum engine, there's material on the Hyper-Pak…really just all kinds of cool stuff, much of which is in the "easily lost to the sands of time" category because it's not in the parts cattledog and it's not in the service manual. Print, paper, and binding quality are nice and high. The '60 book obviously covers only the '60 models, but the '61 and '62 books contain material applicable to prior-year cars, too. 418 pages all in all.
I'd prefer to sell them all in one go: 1-2-3 books, 123 bucks including postage in the continental US.
