you can rebuild those battery packs for about $1 a cell (usually take 5 or more) just rebuild them with new cells of equal size. As for flashlights, I have a 12V R4 bulb in a 10" reflector that's rated at 1M candlepower (concentrated) , or >12M lumens! plugs into lighter. Used it once camping.
