The price is a little optimistic if you ask me:

At least two more 340 clones on factory C code six cars.

All way too pricey for me.

It’s a dang good lookin car though!! Only thing I noticed, in my quick look, that should’ve been different is they painted the core support blue instead of black.

Walk right on by that and put a little more into the kitty and go get a hellcat.... I can't wait for the day when all this crashes on the prices and people who enjoy old iron can actually afford one before everything is autonomous.....

i agree ... i think the end of high priced old muscle is coming ... you are talking near used HELLCAT PRICES now ..

And with the heffalump engine coming out, you know the hello kitty engines are gonna go down in price

Crazy price... On the other hand maybe I can sell him my Nos grille emblem as that one is missing on a car for over 42K!!

That's a high price for a real '72 340 Duster, never mind a clone.

And they say it's a "date code correct" 340 too. Uh, car has a build date of April 1972, engine has a casting date of August 1972. Pretty sure that doesn't work. Engine is date code correct for a '73. But it's a classic car reseller so what do you expect, inflated prices and exaggerated and misleading claims.

Really nice looking car though, at least from the pictures. I'd rather have a clone anyway. The anal retentive purists are more likely to leave you alone when you depart from stock and you can drive the hell out of it without worrying about it. I'd rather see a clone out on the road than some numbers matching original languishing in some purists garage.

If you are going to clone a 72 340 car and ask that much, you have to have the sharkstooth grille..........it makes the car IMO

And should have the correct air cleaner, and the battery is in backwards, the autozone overflow tank, the plastic windshield wipers, flowmasters, etc, etc. If their asking that kind of money it should be perfect clone, not just a nicely restored car. Either way, that price is crazy high.

But on the other hand I didn't see anything in the ad, or the video where their claiming that its a clone, just a nicely restored duster.

It's about 20 grand too much IMHO........
A hot rod for someone to enjoy, but there's not a lot of correct things about this car, especially at the price they're asking.
Overall, it's a nice car though, and would be fun to drive..........

As others have stated, it’s missing a lot of correct parts for that kind of money. The ad should talk about the new special technology this Duster has for the wiper fluid to magically get from the tank to the nozzles since it’s disconected at the plastic “F” piece on the firewall!

However there is a sucker born every minute and someone might pay near their asking price.

The tank on the left doesn’t seem to be an overflow for the radiator. It has blue fluid in it...probably for the washer fluid that the disconnected (and probably cracked) Original reservoir can’t provide.

It’s a $25k car at best and will take a lot of work and $$ to make it into the high quality clone that it’s trying to be.

I bet they are pricing it as a true 340 car, check out this link for a true H code 4 speed car as mine is configured.

Then compare to that one if it had the correct drivetrain.

Earlier this year at a car show there was 2 guys looking over my Duster, it was days after I put on the 340 and stripe kit, one them walked over to the drivers side and looked down at the VIN plate, then looked at his buddy and gave him a thumbs up, that alone brought a smile and I gave him a thumbs up.
