413 or 383?

The biggest issue with 413's is the lack of choise in pistons . Otherwise it is the same as any "RB" motor . This is negated these days by the custom piston industry . The 413 makes it's torque at a lower rpm but it's rpm is limited in it's stock form . The 383 has more aftermarket support and revs a little better . I think it's a tossup as to what's better . I just have more experience with the low decks . Hope this helps .

I agree 100% and that's usually my argument against the 413, BUT, he has a running engine that's strong in his words. So to me, the cubes win out.
