Dart swinger deck lid stripe

its appears the stripe on this car goes all the way around the deck lid and valance. I’ve seen this in another picture too. The stripe kits today don’t do this. Anybody know why this is? Just curious

You should definitely let them know, they're either unaware how it should be or are being cheap/lazy and hoping the buyer is unaware.
 
that picture is sept. 1969 it is probably the first 70 dart or a prototype.

here is a picture of a 70 dart with the factory stripe.

I had a dark green one years ago around 1979. It had a white stripe in vinyl on the valance as pictured above. I have had several and that is the only one I ever saw like that.
