I was thinking today about how lucky I am to be alive after all the very close calls I have had.
Fractured skull at age four.
Internal injuries on my bike age 10.
Went out a rear suicide door into heavy traffic age 12.
Knocked out when my dad went into a ditch.
Shot at going through a guys back yard.
Shot at duck hunting.
On two occasions shot at when deer hunting.
Chased by a guy with a 24" machete.
Attacked by a guy with a large knife who had PTSD and thought I was the enemy.
In an airplane that flipped over 90 deg and dropped close to the surface of a Canadian lake.
I have more, you see what I mean?
