Since this was postponed a few weeks ago, I figured I would bump this event back onto the discussion boards this week. Anyone on FABO going to the Mopar Eastern Classic event at Maryland International Raceway (Budd's Creek) next Saturday, November 10? If the weather cooperates, I am planning on bringing my Dart.

I will be there, I live about 20 minutes away. I hope to bring my swiss export 340 dart sport. Its not much to look at but its an interesting car. Just rebuilt the motor and trans and trying to get it all back up and running before the weekend. Not sure if the car will make it but I will be there either way.

I should be there if I finish my Honey-Do list. I should bring the Dart out but it's not ready for much of anything so I think I'll just bring the 300 instead so at least I can enter it into the Car-Show. Maybe I'll finally get a chance to meet you in person MoparMike.

Its looking good on my dart sport making it. I should be starting the engine tomorrow and getting the cam broke in. I also rebuild the steering box so thats going to need adjustment too. I got inside valve springs removed for the cam break in. Just gonna have to take it easy on her, no time to swap the springs before the show.

The show is now cancelled due to the cold and winds tomorrow.

I wish I would have seen this Fri- I checked Sat am and had gotten a FB notice about meet is on at 7:50 am- left Frederick at 8 am- drove up to entrance 2 1/2 hours later= sign on gate- the 2 minutes I sat there- 4 other people drove up- one guy in a big rig with an enclosed trailer- waste of a day-

The weather was not even that bad. I live about 20 minutes away and there was a slight breeze and a little cold.
I recall a couple years at that show where it was freezing cold and the show still went on. I dont think they should have called this one off.

It wasn't too bad for me since my brother lives a few miles from the track and I stay with him when I come down for the show. I only got to his house when I seen a Facebook post about the show being cancelled. It really was a bummer that they cancelled the show considering they held this show in colder temps a few years ago than this past Saturday.

I am not saying it was the wrong decision- I think the problem was the high winds- Just should have gotten out the word earlier....
