Anyone have knowledge on aluminum rim straightening?
Noticed slight wobble on rear 15x8 5.5" BS wheel, while spinning on car.
Axels/housing straight.
Can the inside hub be shaved to remove slight tweak?

Thanks, Dave

Yes I have seen it done that way. Check with body shops in your area for a mobile wheel repair guy. The body shop close to me has a guy that comes to his shop and repairs steel and aluminum wheels. Worth a shot.
Also check with motorcycle shops. Years ago I had a set of Centerlines given to me that were bent on a tire machine.I took them to a guys motorcycle shop and he machine straightened them.

There is a company here in N.H. that reconditions aluminum rims straightens them by hobbing or by a press . So, it can be done . It's just a matter of making the connection .
