David Pearson Passes...

1980 me an my groomsmen go to Riverside International Raceway to see Winston Cup on the road course. Infield passes, we could walk to most any part of the track we cared to, and, the beer was more available in the infield. I was sitting there at the "Ss", Pearson goes through there in the Merc flyin'. One hand on the wheel the other out the window and holding on to the side view mirror. Lap after lap. :rofl:
 
I’m sure he has highest win percentage in NASCAR.
He was pretty funny too. He said he went to Riverside four times ‘till he realized the esse’s were paved.
