It's a Mining thing, pedestrians were always high around the mine :rofl:.
That sign is probably there at the direction of an MSHA inspector.
I learned early in my mining career that those haul trucks and big loaders wouldn't even feel a pedestrian that for some unknown reason got in their path. Just road kill. Keeps the buzzards and the crows happy :rofl:
