Hahaha, great story! Thanks for sharing. I dont think it would be hard, but neither of us have ever done it and watching videos it looks simple, but that is another story.
You will be fine. You will tune into it quickly enough and have a blast. The hardest part is knowing what to do when the weather and/or seas turns foul, and you can learn that easily enough.
When all else fails, drop and secure the sails and batten down the hatches to ride it out..
