Manual steering column collar problem

I was thinking about that right after i wrote the post, If so it had to be during blasting because the powder coating was nice!

I have never seen one that was perfectly round-- I had to pull my column out to get the dam thing back together after a lower bearing mod. The factory engineer that came up w/ the bolt configuration to bolt the upper housing pieces together, must have been a reject !! Dumbest set up I`ve run across !
