All,
I’m thinking of running a 10” rim on back of my Demon.
Stock wheel well and stock wheel tub, springs moved in 3”.
Have a deal,on 15x10” with 4 1/2” backspace.

I’ve rin 15x8” in the past with 4 1/2” backspacing, wondering if the 2 extra inches will rub on either inside or outer wheel well.

Thank you!

Wally.

On a Duster with no spring mods at all, my buddy ran a 15x10 with 5.5" Back space and a 28x10.5 MT et dragslick no rubbing. Demon should be the same . I was going to buy his used tires and wheels, but they were ugly Pro stars so i passed.

So if 5 1/2” backspacing works, how do you think 4 1/2” would do?
Was there that 1” extra towards the outer lip of the wheel well?

SO are you saying a 15x10 rim wit 5.5 BS and a tire that is 28x10.5 wide will fit in an unmodified Demon? Damn y ou for making me get under my car to measure! lol

I wonder what the sidewall width was on those slicks , with a 10" rim---------------trying to decide to mini tub or do the same thing. Drag radials ain`t cutting it for me.

Section width on the 10" rim was 12.5" i believe. It was years ago that i measured everything off the car.

Do you have big bolt axles and brakes on the demon?

If you are asking me.... no, I'm running 7.25 SBP in the rear. I'm slowly getting to the rear end. (literally in the middle of upgrading to BBP disk upfront this week - BBP posi/sure grip rear end is on the horizon though)
