Centerforce clutch - remove pedal spring ?

I run one in my car.
Yes, you must remove the over center spring. (It also says so in the instructions).
I'm very pleased with mine and i followed the instructions to a ''t'' and broke it in as they said to.
My combination is a '74 Dart Sport, mild 360, regular A-833 4 speed, stock linkage and bellhousing, 3:55 sure grip 8 3/4 and of course, the Centerforce dual friction clutch.
I resurfaced the flywheel and used a pilot bearing that fits the crank register instead of the stock bushing usually used in the end of the crank.
I have used it for 4 years now without issue.
Pedal effort is pretty easy compared to a Borg&Beck type, but it isn't as easy as a stock Toyota car for example regardless of what anyone says..............
thanks
