Anyone using centerforce clutches. Is it best to remove the pedal assy spring? Looking for the easiest pedal effort. Thanks

I run one in my car.
Yes, you must remove the over center spring. (It also says so in the instructions).
I'm very pleased with mine and i followed the instructions to a ''t'' and broke it in as they said to.
My combination is a '74 Dart Sport, mild 360, regular A-833 4 speed, stock linkage and bellhousing, 3:55 sure grip 8 3/4 and of course, the Centerforce dual friction clutch.
I resurfaced the flywheel and used a pilot bearing that fits the crank register instead of the stock bushing usually used in the end of the crank.
I have used it for 4 years now without issue.
Pedal effort is pretty easy compared to a Borg&Beck type, but it isn't as easy as a stock Toyota car for example regardless of what anyone says..............

You're welcome.
I hope this helped you.............
What are the details of your project?
1971 Duster true 340 4spd. v24 hood treatment. Motor has some extensive machining. Hooker headers, exhaust cut outs for fun. Ground up resto, B5 blue black ducket interior. Salt flat wheels.
