Fiberglass dash

-
I made a fiberglass replacement dash for 68-72 Demon, Dart, Duster vailient onepiece dashes. It's one piece including the dashpad. I would post some pics but I can't get the gallery to work. If anyone is interested email me.
The dash will need sanding and filling depending on how critical you are on the finish. It's realy a nice piece We can provide an install kit too. The whole piece can be held in with 4 easily accessed zeus fittings. It can be taken off with the window installed too.

how much, is it the only one or are you going to make them, to sell. will it fit a 68 cuda

I want one!!!! how much?????? and how quick can I get it????

Wow that looks great, I would buy one for the right price :).
How about one for a 73 duster? And your dart is one trick piece, it looks amazing.

This piece is designed to be used in a race car. You will need to cut out the guage pod area. You could mount the guages to the dash but I would recomend mounting a frame behind the dash to the cage knee bar. The attachment points are up to you. We tied to the A-post and made a reciever groove under the window. The three dashes that are installed are held by 2-4 zeus screws. The dash is easy to remove to get to the electronics. There is no provision for the glovebox, radio, or heater. It's really a race only piece. Also the dash has added depth into the cab, it can be trimmed for a stock location fit. With an extra pair of hands and some experience it should take 2-4hours to install. Depending on how stock you want it to look, you will be spending some time to fine detail, sand and prep before paint. The pictured dash had a couple of hours in it before paint. I plan on airbrushing the radio, heater controls and glovebox on mine at some point.
It looks like there is 4-5 people interested. The price is 350.00ea prepaid. 3-4 weeks to ship. Once I make them. if there are more orders they may have to wait. This isn't my daily job and is time consuming.
If anyone is serious and wants one email me soon. Thanks everyone that gave me complments

That's a very nice piece! You'd pay close to that for a junkyard dash, and still need to buy a dashpad cap. Radio and glove compartment provisions would make this a home run. As is, it's a solid triple...

I want one for my 68 dart as well..... 350 is a good price. I have more questions about this though.. I'll ask you about it later.

can they have the stock trim on them? or would i have to mod them in along with the heater and all?

I know this post is 2 years old but does anyone know if this person still does the fiberglass dash for a Dodge Dart?

Michael

Mike,

I just started a conversation (PM) with you.

Interested in knowing if you still build the dash.

Thanks,

Tom
