2018 8th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time For Your NITRO Fix! Here We Go Again!!!
I was thinking of postin the season-end results in a two-part package like I did last year so both the NRA Finals event winner and the 2018 NHRA "Pick 'Em" game winner could both get their share of glory, but when the game leader wins the final event it takes the suspense away!
Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO) for winning the 2018 NHRA Finals "Top Picker Eliminator" title with an outstanding total of 251.5 points. He picked the class winners in Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle pick went to the final round of eliminations before losing. About the only thing 'Back in Time' didn't get at this event were either ET and Speed bonus points.
'Budnicks' (FBBO) was the event runner-up with 232.0 points.

E.T. - Leah Pritchett, 3.631 during qualifying
Speed - Brittany Force, 333.58 during qualifying
Funny Car
E.T. - Ron Capps, 3.848 during qualifying

Speed - Greg Anderson, 212.33 while losing during Round 2 of eliminations

Speed - Mike Smith, 201.22 (New National Record) while winning Round 4 of eliminations and the event

The 2019 NHRA season kicks off with the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Feb. 7-10, right back at Auto Club Raceway at The Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
I've already got my ticket for Friday qualifying and I'm more than ready for that first "nitro fix" of 2019.
