64 Plymouth Barracuda new switch yet headlights still won't come on

64 & 65 the limiter is a replaceable module. The 66 is where it went inside the fuel gauge. My 66 has a bad gauge...or limiter, I don't believe you can buy a new one of these
 
To repair my broken limiter on my 66, I wired in a 7805 regulator. I used a heat sink to keep it cool. Here are a couple of pics. Allpar has a great write up. Vintage Chrysler electrical repairs and updates (part 2)

There was another post about a bad switch. I said check voltage at dimmer. I suppose there was voltage at what was left of the dimmer!
 
Yeah, he mentioned his fuel gauge too. I'm not sure if he had voltage at the dimmer or not, I know he was headed to parts store to get a new one!!
