I fish tournaments and when my partner uses his boat it's behind his Tundra. You hardly know it's back there.....
If a 5.7 won't get the job done for someone's towing needs they are probably in the wrong class of truck. But I will agree it's not stellar on gas mileage but IMO that's part of the package with a gas motor....
