Bendable Edge Metal

Saw a you tube video where they used a bendable strip of metal to replace a lip around a wheel well. Strip had cutouts that had to be welded once shaped. Anyone have an idea where this can be purchased?

Looks easy enough. Did you hand from the Z bend or use a break? Do you trim the table to eliminate any overlap after it is bent?
 
I used a bench vise for the bends, then a slim cut off wheel in a grinder for the slits.

The outside tabs spread open when you start to make the curve, so I just kept taking more slices out of the inside radius until the proper bend was achieved.
 
I did the same for a exhaust tube. Slits for clearance and bend, weld up and grind. DIY mandrel bend..sort of.
 
For exhaust flared bells in tubing, you can heat the end up until red hot & then slowly twist in a trailer ball, which thankfully come in several exhaust tubing IDs.
