Hi I have some rust coming up around my windshield on my 1967 Dodge dart. I’m scared if I have to pull the windshield it will break. Does anyone know where I can buy a new one? Also have the same issue on the rear glass. If anyone has a place to buy glass please let me know. 1967 Dodge Dart 2 door hard top

X2 on AMD. I used the front on my Demon. Same as original as far as thickness etc. I purchased thru Summit which was cheaper than going direct to AMD.

Listen Carefully. You will NOT break the glass if you do what I say. I have removed a zillion windshields without ever breaking one. Take out any trim that may be present around the glass. Then remove the locking strip if there is one. I think 67s do have locking strips, but who knows what might have been put in over the years. Then you will need a good utility knife with several new and sharp blades and (I would highly recommend) some heavy leather gloves for protection. Slowly cut away the gasket. Over the years they get rather hard and sometimes brittle. You will eventually completely cut away enough of the gasket that the glass will literally fall out. Take your time and change the blade when it starts to dull.

and seal good with recommended stuff . with rust use recommended sealer from window people u buy from . the edge I think u r talking about. find y it rusted. where and y water is there.

I agree 100% with this method. This is the same way I remove front and rear glass if the glass is worth saving? After many years glass will get milky on the corners. Plus I like installing glass with a new seal so cutting the old one up is not a problem. I do this especially on 2dr sedans. Try finding that glass.
