I have a core 727 that I'm wanting to sell but have no idea what it's worth. Anyone have a clue? It is stock, takes a while to go into gear. I am replacing the motor and trans because the engine is used up.

Thanks

When selling, you should specify if it's a "lock-up" or "non lock-up". The converter end will have splines all the way to the tip if it's for a conventional "non lock-up" converter. A "lock-up" will have about a 3/4" smooth tip. Lock-ups started around the late '70's and converters will not interchange with conventional transmissions. It can be converted with the proper work/parts, including valve body & pump. .

Thanks guys,

I think $100-$125 sounds good. Not sure about how long the tail is, but it is for a small block. Still works okay, just slow into gear when it's cold. Don't want more than core price though.
