73 Scamp 5.7 Swap

I guess the biggest details would be the list of parts. MSD Hemi 6 ignition, TTI engine mounts, Arrow/Prefix Cascar intake manifold, Milodon pan and pick up, car front acc. drive, 09-10 Jeep exhaust manifolds. This has been in the making for over two years. I wanted it to be the first Hemi swap I did. However it wasn't. Paying customers who wanted the same thing came first. The car had a 318/904 combo in it before. A compression and leak down test showed it wouldn't be long for the world. I droped the old engine/trans combo out the botom. Car also had power steering and brakes. I was seriously considering keeping both, but, I knew room between the box and ex. manifolds was gonna be tight. I think the brake booster might have cleared. Servicing plugs/coil packs might have rquired removal of booster to do so, though. Kept the column shift. Had a 1968 904 mated to the back of the Hemi before we tore the car apart. My son and I did the swap over Thanksgiving weekend. Was hoping to have it driving under its own power by that Sunday. Well, it's a week later and we're finally there, lol. Got most of it done on schedule, it was little things. More details on the engine, 2004 Durango. New pistons and rings. Reused all bearings(over 100k and they were perfect yet). 6.1 cam installed at 113, and 6.1 pushrods. Bone stock used Eagle heads and valve train. Obviously have to use Eagle valve covers, too. The Cascar intake was kind of a mistake. I ordered the carb version. I received the fuelie version. That's why you see a carb and fuel rails. Kind of a happy litltle accident, that way I can go fuelie in the future. Old school 800 double pumper Holley. Transmission is basically stock. Stock clutches(re-clearanced) and bands. 4.2 lever, and, modded valve body. Swap meet convertor. Probably waaay to much, 3500. 8 3/4 rear with spooled 3.91's, and super stock springs. Have to run cooling hoses yet. Suppose to get nailed with a winter storm this weekend, so, a test drive is out. That sucks!! I'm anxious to beat on this thing!
