Losing weight

When I decided to put a lift in my garage, I looked at all different styles, and thought about what I needed. I have a fairly low ceiling and limited space. I wanted my garage to also be a man cave of sorts with 55" inch tv etc. imho all lift styles have pros and cons too them.
I chose mine because when not in use it was completely out of the way when not in use. If necessary it had the ability to raise only one pad. This allows it to be another workbench or a serving table with a table cloth over it. Or you could work on your lawn mower with it elevated. But in use it has some limitations. But I could live with those. But as you get older any lift is better than no lift at all. I am surprised at the amount of jobs where I just wanted the car say 1 foot off the ground so I am not hunched over. Even with an 8.5 foot garage I can still get the wheels at chest height without hitting the ceiling, and can get under the car completely on a rolling creeper seat. Just an FYI for you to think about.
