Listed out on eBay. --- 1969 Dodge Dart 2 Door | eBay

1969 Dodge Dart - Original Slant 6 Car Y2 car with X9 interior, column auto. Currently has a 383 with holley carb, Torker single plane intake, orange dual snorkel air cleaner, Schumacher mounts, mild cam, with cast iron manifolds that lead to Flowmaster 40s that dump back by the rear wheels. Newer white seat covers (front bench)and panels with reproduction newer black carpet. Has black sun visors (they are coming apart as the seams) that I would swap for white if they weren't on backorder with Classic Industries. Glove box insert is missing, and there is no radio. Car needs black fogged on the radiator support IMHO.

Summit temp and mechanical oil pressure gauge mounted on the lower dash frame. Aluminum crossflow radiator, and aluminum fan. 727 shifts smoothly, with SBP 13 inch wheels painted black with dog dish hubcaps and newer tires and the Slant 6 rear end. Manual brakes are on the soft side, so that will need to be addressed at some point. All trim is intact and in very good shape. Bumpers have fresh chrome, and paint shows well, except there are some small rock chips on the hood on the passenger side.

Engine bay is clean and tidy (and body colored), though it has a battery in it that is on the small side and maintained on a battery tender. Car starts easily and I will continue tuning this week.

All glass is clear. Windows all around are original, except for the windshield that was replaced at some point in its life with tinted reproduction glass. Trunk area was painted with a fleckstone paint, but it is solid with no holes in the trunk floor area or trunk extensions with a spare and a jack intact.

This a great starting point for someone looking for an A body with a big block conversion, and I have a clean title in hand.

Asking $12.5k OBO. This is a great price for a SUPER SOLID car with no rust issues, blistering or bubbling of any kind that shows like a very nice driver. Body lines are very good. Car is in Poway, CA. Bank to bank transfer preferred, and I can drop with a shipper of your choice.

PM me with a phone number and I will text pics. Hoping to get a video of the car running when I have time this week.

Front end shot showing rock chips (only blemishes on paint), and the lack of radiator support blackout. Trim has a small dent on the passenger side, and the bumper needs to tuck up on the driver's side. Oh, and that antenna is crap.

I have a 30 second walkaround clip of the car running. PM me with a phone number and I will text it to interested people.

To answer a couple of questions:

Trunk floor, spare tire well, and trunk extensions are totally solid.

No evidence of shoddy bodywork, quarters look fine from the backside in the trunk and underneath the car.

Had backseat out for cleaning, and the floor is totally solid. No rot in rails, and the underside and wheelwells are painted black, but they did not use undercoating to hide anything.

Carb rebuilt, new spark plug wires, new master cylinder, new radio bezel, and glove box insert installed. Timing is @ 12 deg initial, 42 all in.

Radiator support blackout this week. This car runs and drives well. Engine does not smoke or leak at all, and is really fresh.

Carb pulls cleanly after the rebuild and upgrading to a .034 accelerator pump nozzle and white accelerator pump cam in position #1. No bog, no hesitation, plenty of power through the entire range with no stumble or backfire. Car has no leaks, does not smoke, and engine is very fresh. I would drive this car anywhere, and $12,500 isn't a lot of money for a sorted super solid A body that needs minor odds and ends while you drive it.

I have adjusted the bumper alignment and took the liberty of spraying some SEM trim black on the radiator support for a much cleaner and more correct look. I will work on getting a picture.

Updated to reflect the radiator support blackout. I used SEM Trim Black over the scuffed stock paint. I sprayed it from underneath, and it stops just below the top of the radiator support and hood latch. It extends from the edges of the headlight buckets left to right. I also adjusted the driver's side bumper to tighten it up to the trim better. Looks great!

Still for sale. Antenna replaced. New column wiring harness and connector so all electrical works as it should.

Will drive to Fall Fling and look for a SBP 8.75 if someone is selling.
This is a very nice car for the money. Anyone know how to post a video?

Still for sale. Couple of updates:

White sunvisors replaced the old ratty black ones
383 is a warranty block; casting date 6-17-70
727 trans is also a warranty piece. No VIN stamped on the passenger pad.

Replacing wheel cylinders and drum brake hardware this week, as well as the two front rubber lines.

$11,000. I need the room. Someone is getting a smoking deal on an honest car. PM me.

Car is back on the market due to the issues with the potential buyer, not the car.

any other pics of interior? I ask because I am going to white interior and want to know the color scheme of A-pillar/trim etc... which is white / which is black ?
