Yes it's expensive, I've got about $13,000 into my 418 (340 based) stroker. If you already have good heads, intake and cam you can build on a lot cheaper. Also my rotating assembly is a Molnar forged which is more expensive than a Scat or Eagle. Expensive BUT a lot of fun. Mine dynoed at 490 HP and 516 TQ.
I was looking at those eagle cranks today on summit. Saw one for $371? Seems pretty fair. But once you do a crank you gotta do more good rods and pistons too. I’m thinking stock crank good rods and pistons
