If you're replacing pistons anyways, you might as well buy stroker pistons. Cast Scat crank is plenty strong for most people. The problem is, as with most projects, they start to snowball once you're into them. I ended up going full forged bottom end, full roller top end, ported Edlebrock heads, etc. Well north of $10k in engine and drivetrain. Don't forget you'll need chassis and brake mods to handle the power and big tires to put it to the pavement. Is it worth it? I'd say hell yeah, if you have the means, I'd highly recommend it.
