Was repainted years ago by previous owner. I bought new hinge pins and bushings. The problem door does slightly hit the door striker pin. Any idea on how to raise the door and hinges to raise it up?
I don't recall if you can get to the bolts with the fenders on the car. The alignment in issue here is the bolts that hold the hinge to the body.
You will want to remove the striker before making adjustments to the door. The striker holds the door closed, shouldn't be used to push the door in place.
