Chrysler /6 performance book dutra

I agree. We all realize it was a durable, economy engine. Has basically, has no NEW real aftermarket support, other than what is going into the turbo. And there lies its potential !? But it can be made to have better hp and torq with simple mods.
Us fans of the engine enjoy it for what potential it has, and I will also order Doug's book.
I hope Target does not go out of business before Feb!

You're damn right it takes a lot of time to port the long runner, you gotta lay the turn back even more than 906 head. Its tricky getting up in there. A lot of grind. .stop and feel, stop and feel. In the end all you get is a head that will 200 cfm.... but a bottom end that wont rev up fast or high enough....almost undrivable on the street with any auto by the time you get enough camshaft.. oh and they DO NOT like high cylinder pressures on pump gas and start detonating after 155+psi , horrible chamber.

You make more power modifying, but the return is never worth more than the novelty of it....hell, a 225 Crankshaft weighs 85 lbs for christs sake.
