Heater line part identification help

Hey folks,
Just curious what this might be. Just got the duster up and running but no heat. I have other things to check, but noticed that when I tested this with the vacuum pump, it tended to not work or stick open. Car is factory AC.
Where do I get one, and or do i want to replace it or remove it and just run a hose.
