engine cradle swap

put in a tubular cradle made by Cap,who sold to QA1,with manual rack and pinion.going forward seems to be ok,but in reverse and turning the wheels go out at the bottom an pulls the car pretty much to the ground. anybody know why?
 
castor and camber on mopars stock k frame is b hind k frame . a complete new front geomentry. if changed y we have new front end parts 4 sale. hard two to find a old mopar alignment person I am one . stock align stock way modify u out there . point is modify u got to get a person that can set back to stock specs. 4 handleing….. body is shaped to all front end. not Heinz 57. am old and yes I am right.mopar is a uniboby made as u set torshion bars body lets front hang down u thighten up go. unibody. am 64 align 4 ford mopar my public. chevy 25 yrs. got all the schooling. by...
 
u build get a total alignment person they can take wheels from one complete turn to the other and see how wheel travels throught turn... that is caster and camber . y struts are now . that cured all adjustments . tow and go. sorry we love em.
 
Am I correct in assuming the rack and pinion is mounted in front of the engine? lots of pics might help.
yes.it is in front.when i bought this i did not know you need at least 15 in wheels.i had new 14 in so i modified the tie rod arm to make the 14 fit. this was a few years ago and I'm about finished with the car.trying to get this figured out.

the only time I experienced anything like you're describing, was when a guy brought an old IH Travelall to me with similar issues. It turned out he had installed the idler arm upside down. I turned it around and problem solved.
 
You degraded your front-end with a poorly designed peice of crap system.
