low front end

Question of the day! my 68 barracuda hits or grounds out on speed bumps on the front end running stock 14" tires any ideas

Shocks haven't a thing to do with ride height. A good shock will keep the car from bottoming during jounce, though. If it's too low, raise it up. Pretty simple.

The streets in my area suck as far as dips, bumps and uneven surfaces go, and I had the same problems until I installed 1.03 torsion bars and single chamber shocks.
The bars themselves helped to get the front end up a little more as well as not compressing so easily, and the shocks helped with front end dive.

Still I make an effort to avoid speed bumps if I can, and If I do have to deal with them I ease the front end down off of them to limit the compression of the suspension.
The guy in the SUV behind me can just wait.:D
