Just got back from PRI, new info on the Trick Flow Small Block Heads!

Hey All:

Was beginning to suppose these were vaporware, but it looks like TFS has made some changes to these since they were announced at SEMA last year.

These heads are for shaft rockers, but will work with Magnum engines (!!) with the use of a particular Harland Sharp part number rocker system. They say stock rockers will work for LA heads, but recommend a Harland Sharp part number.
Being able to get good heads for Magnum engines is a big deal *especially* they're drilled for LA intakes.

I know its Mopar blasphemy, but honestly was hoping for stud rockers on these. It makes it easier to go fast if you don't have to use unicorn mopar valvetrain stuff.

Heads are CNC'd. Published flow numbers are in the image below. In LS world its not like they're super great, BUT by small block mopar standards they're basically unheard of for a "shelf" part, particularly on the exhaust side. The Intake/Exhaust ratio is good enough I expect a custom cam is going to be necessary to get the most out of them.

They've also got a low profile spider style single plane that's coming out as well. Looks good.

The bad news: They say next spring before they hit.
