Recently purchased a Weiand Action Plus Manifold and a Street Demon 625. What type of throttle / kickdown linkage or cable is best. Modified brackets or Lokar system which is best .Grateful any advise.thanks , Tim

Comes down to cost vs time. I'd try to find the stock stuff & save your money.

Depends on how much he wavered from factory setups. 360/904 4 barrel -/360/727 4 barrel. I have that same setup on my 360 magnum/904 but i opted for the lokar because as far as i know there wasnt a factory setup for it. Ive collected a bunch of different linkages hoping to get the combination right but nothing as of yet.

you can use the linkage/throttle cable system you have now. Your time and creativeness will make it look as nice/clean as you wish.

360 with 904 was never a combo. You need to make that rod from bellcrank on intake to bellcrank on trans.

Im going from the original 273 to the 360 and original 904

True, there was never that combo.
The trick is to use 318 linkage from the firewall to the trans.
And then use 340 4bbl linkage from the carb to the firewall.

He needs these parts. And rework the long rod in the photo.

Not so fast. He has a 904 already.
I'm thinking all he needs is the 4bbl bracket, rod etc, from the carb to firewall. The firewall to trans should be good to go. I'm only speaking from experience from a 318/904 to a 360/904.
My thinking is the 273 should be the same as a 318, from firewall to trans.

No only the tranny in the car when I bought it
if the 360 is from a car, the linkage from the 727 may work as well. I've used 904 linkage on 727's, can't imagine it wouldn't work the other way around if you have car linkage. Other than that, there are many ways to hook it up, including Lokar cables to paying more than 100 bucks for a factory 4bbl set up. The cheapest is to use a 318 2bbl kickdown linkage set up from a A-body. They are "next to free", and the most common so very easy to find. Just have to do like I did in the video posted above

here is 2bbl linkage I just set up on my 318 last night. You just need to flip over and bend the carb arm the opposite direction. Super easy!
