Doing a disc brake swap on my 68 barracuda , got upper control are and lower and spindles from 75 dodge dart, would also like to replace tie rod ends... dart has a different part number then the barracuda are they same size ? will they fit.

Not sure. You looking up a 75 Cuda? Those are an E body, not A. Some ends for the larger cars are same stud but larger thread, so if you replace all 4 along with the sleeves they will fit and gain you "heavier duty" threads. I'm not too sure I was ever worried about breaking one, and not sure the actual ball is heavier

Check the Big Block Dart tech page for no's

Not sure what I was thinking when I read that. I'm sure they will........again.......did you go to the link?

The important difference is that the center link, idler, and pitman must all go together, and if the steering box pitman splines are different then of course the pitman must fit that

The 4 of those parts 72/ earlier will interchange with 73/ later without changing tie rod ends

Possibly the 75 had the LH thread end out board and the 68 had the RH thread outboard, or vice versa? I have done this swap before and I don't recall any difference in tie rod ends.

The ‘Cuda was a really rare car in 1975. Production numbers are said to be fewer than one unit. It’s hard to imagine much aftermarket support for that model year. :D

I have no idea why a 75 Dart tie rod end would have a different part number from 68 Barracuda.
Like said above, even C-body tie rod ends with larger threaded stems use the same size/taper ball stud. So to negate the questions, just order 68 barracuda tie rod ends. You know those match your center link, adjust sleeves, etc... and we know they fit the 75 Dart spindle hole.

They do interchange, but
68 to 72 are upside-downers with hooked ends.
73 up have down firing studs.
If you are going to run over-the-steering headers, it is best to use all the 73-up steering parts, including the centerlink, the pitman arm and the idler arm, and with power-steering, this usually means the steering box too... because the early box has a smaller sector shaft diameter.
If running log-manifolds this is a non-issue, run what you got; as long as you use the entire steering system.
IIRC,the 73-up centerlink provides a lil more oilpan clearance

On my 68 Barracuda,I am running 73-up steering,on my 70 KH 4-piston disc-brake spindles, to clear my Milodon Roadrace oilpan on the 1971-360. No problems.
