I can tell you that in the past I have said that the reason the muscle cars of the 60s are so sought after today is because the older guys now have the money to buy what they wanted as young men. The cars were also ground breaking because the idea of a “muscle car” was completely new. Today’s cars are indeed replicating something from the past so they have that against them. However many of the young kids today dream of owning a hellcat, a demon, a Shelby, or a ZL1. So when they are older they will likely want the cars they dreamed about as kids.
