hey guys! well its that time to think about a new tank for the zombie its seen its days and her share of rust up the *** and im getting tired of i was wondering what u all recomend for a cell and the lines that u all use!Fastback id like to know what u used for your set up my stuff is just old and crappy need a change what size should i use?Thanks
MIKE :twisted:

Rust up the ***!! :shock: You should put some ointment on that before it spreads! :wink:

I have a 16gallon cell that I would need to put some bulkhead fitting in that I would sell at a resonable price if you are interested. The foam has already been removed (foam breaks up after a few years..and gets all in the filter and the rest of your fuel system if you don't run a filter.)

I even have a strap kit for it too!!

I got a 16 gal cell going into the Duster. Its still going to be driven on the street so I wanted the capacity. I got the same one as Adam :D

Yup I have a 16 gallon. Its a summit pro-street cell with-out foam. It has a sending unit on it so you can use a fuel guage.

Yup...I pulled mine out to save weight...and to help keep the sump covered. Had a bad experience at a local track where the pump was running when I went over a rise in the staging lanes. I was trying to keep the weight down in the car and just run 5gal of fuel....well needless to say I uncovered the sump and found the air bubble during the launch on nitrous. That was another fireball moment in Sledgehammer Motorsports history. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey fastback sis u do your fuel lines too?If so what should i do im thinking of athe 1/2 all the way but i hav a 318 so....?

Most fuel cells are set up for -8 (1/2") lines . It may be overkill but it won't hurt . Mine is -8 and is fine . Reminder : if you put the cell in the trunk be sure to vent it to the outside of the car , and if you ever want to make a pass there must be a firewall between the trunk and passenger compartment . Smart idea either way

I put a 20gal in the trunk, mines a street strip car, with 10an lines feeding twin pumps into one 10an line going to the intake. Now I'm thinking of removing the foam from the cell, it's a rci aluminum. I cut my stock factory full tube at the top, closed off the side port for the vent and jb welded a plate on the open end with a 8an bulkhead or npt thread to vent the gas out the newer vent gas cap I got for it.

Summit 16 gal. With sump and sending unit. (No foam)
-10 hard line for feed and -6 hard line for return.
Even at 16 gallons I dont pass many gas stations... but I can pass just about anything else on a city street!

:lol::steering:
